Oh what a good day, a good to celebrate Jesus being alive!
As the classic song goes
“oh happy day, he washed my sin away”
We are made innocent and pure, able to have a relationship with a holy God because of Jesus.

GOOD FRIDAY || 2/3

The name Good Friday always seemed ironic to me.
Good Friday was probably the worst most painful day of Jesus’ earthly life. There’s nothing flowery and pastel about Good Friday. It was a bloody, painful and devastating day. The son of God being torn apart from his Father to suffer in my place.
“Lord, Never let me downplay and sanitize Good Friday. Show me the magnitude of the sacrifice you made for me. Help me realize the extent of the sacrifice and the love that you displayed on the cross.”

(something I’m a big fan of being half Irish)
