This is a massive win for armoured car workers across the country. At 362 we have always upheld the requirement of every messenger having a guard, and we have protected this under our CBA. It is a great day seeing this right be upheld by the CIRB and knowing that all our brothers and sisters across the country have that same commitment to safety guaranteed.

Unifor wins major workplace safety victory for armoured car workers at Brinks TORONTO - The Canada Industrial Relations Board has sided with a Unifor member who refused dangerous work at Brinks in Toronto, dismissing the company's appeal and confirming that armoured car workers cannot be directed to work alone without the protection of a guard.
