llers, I love & buy more than I collect. I started selling in local groups & markets and it was an easy and exciting decision to open my own Etsy shop in 2014! My treasure hunting started with lessons from my mother who was also a collector, of antique furniture. She taught my sister and I not to be wasteful, to try and repair or up-cycle something before getting rid of it and donate unwanted items before adding them to the landfill. I have great appreciation for those lessons she taught us! Today, I frequent garage sales & thrift stores along with estate sales, markets and antique stores. I love the memories that flood back when I find something from my childhood or something I remember my grandparents having. I'm excited when I find that piece of history or that item I know is different from anything else I can find mass produced today. I am delighted that I am able to share this passion with my family and my customers. I incorporate vintage fashions and home decor with new. I appreciate the detail and beauty of vintage items that have stood the test of time and add them to my everyday life. It's one way I recycle, reuse and up-cycle while getting many more years of enjoyment from these amazing pieces. I am located in Calgary Alberta, Canada. Pick up at my Central SE Calgary home is always free when a pick up time arranged in advance.
