In partnership with HavenPoint Health, Canadian Legacy Project is proud to present Sister Strength – a 24-week, therapist-led group counselling program that provides a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed environment where women Veterans can engage in healing, connection and recovery alongside peers with shared military experiences. Canadian Legacy Project is privileged to collaborate with Paws 4 Resiliency in Alberta and Veteran’s Elite Canines in Ontario to present our Paws That Protect Her program. This initiative is unique in Canada as it is the only service dog program tailored to support the specific needs of female Veterans. The program is offered to participants at no cost.
