PCCA Alberta

PCCA Alberta was honored to co-host a meaningful Community Engagement Session alongside The Canadian Zalmi Society and the Calgary Police Service, focused on supporting the Pakistani community and strengthening connections with CPS through dialogue, trust, and collaboration.

We extend our sincere thanks to Constable Randy Randhawa of the Calgary Police Service for sharing valuable insights on youth engagement, safety, crime prevention, and the importance of guiding children toward positive and healthy activities. His openness and commitment to our community were truly appreciated.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Humaira Falak, Co-Chair of the Calgary Police South Asian Advisory Board, for her excellent leadership and coordination, and to Jay Choudhary, Diversity Resource Volunteer with CPS, for continuously building bridges between law enforcement and diverse communities.

We also thank The Canadian Zalmi Society and Nasser Khan for their strong collaboration and shared commitment to empowering the community and fostering positive relationships with CPS.
A warm thank you to all community members who attended and participated—your engagement, questions, and presence made this session a success. This was the first program of its kind, and we are pleased to share that a second session will be held to continue this important work.

PCCA Alberta Pakistan Day Celebrations 2026.

It was an event filled with joy and excitement for all the good reasons. From young kids to the elderly, everyone enjoyed every moment of the event.

As it was a family event, a large number of women and children attended.

Participants highlighted the importance of this historical day, which led to Pakistan's independence in just 7 years.

Our local talent had a great opportunity to showcase their skills, while children delivered special messages.

A delicious dinner was served to the guests at the end of the event.

We are thankful to our mainstream and social personalities who stayed until the very end of the event.
