To our Livery family,

In 2014, we opened our doors in the red barn you all fondly remember. We initially embarked on this journey as a studio space for our house brands COUTUKITSCH and Camp Brand Goods to grow in. From this collaborative concept, The Livery Shop was born and has blossomed into the retail space it is now.

Over the past decade, you have helped us to create a community that we cherish deeply and we are so appreciative that we have become a staple in the Calgary small business scene. In 2019, we moved across the street into the building you now know & love. We have grown into a space where we have been able to feature local artists and brands in and around Calgary, and beyond.

As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. Therefore, there’s no easy way for us to share that at the end of May, The Livery Shop will be closing its doors.

Endings usually bring finality, but in this case, we are turning the page to a new chapter. After much reflection and planning, Camp Brand Goods and COUTUKITSCH have decided to shift their focus to curating more authentic shopping experiences for their respective audiences. This decision to close The Livery Shop will give our house brands a better opportunity to cater to their communities with a more focused lens.

We’ve made a million memories here. To every person that has walked through our doors, watched us grow, attended our events, claimed a pop-up spot on our driveway, supported us in the busy times and the slow times, and of course, brought their dogs, we are beyond grateful for everything you have done to make The Livery Shop what it is today.

Stay tuned to hear about events we will be hosting in the weeks leading up to our closure, as well as more details about the new ventures being undertaken by Camp & Coutu.
