Kent Imaging
Kent's SnapshotNIR is the latest advancement in tissue oxygenation imaging. The cost effective and easy to use imaging device is completely non-invasive, eliminating the need for patient contact or the injected dyes required by other technologies. Instantly capture diagnostic insight into the availability of oxygenated blood in tissue. Providing improved decision making throughout the dynamic treatment pathway – before, during and after wound or surgical care.

This research focused on the use of near-infrared spectroscopy as a non-invasive method for assessing lower extremity perfusion and contributing to the stratification of peripheral arterial disease severity.
Using SnapshotNIR, the authors explored how tissue oxygenation data may complement vascular assessment by offering timely, visual insight into oxygenation status, supporting clinical evaluation and decision-making without added patient burden.

What does global collaboration look like in real-world wound care?
This case from the Medical Mission 2026 to Grenada highlights how Dr. Jeffrey Niezgoda, CMO of Wound Care and Limb Preservation at Kent Imaging, and Dr. Tyler Sexton worked with local clinicians to support wound assessment using SnapshotGLO, which provides real-time bacterial autofluorescence imaging at the point of care.

Effective debridement isn’t about removing more tissue; it’s about removing the right tissue.
Bacterial burden extends beyond what’s visible; clinical judgment alone can be challenged.
SnapshotGLO uses bacterial autofluorescence imaging to reveal areas of elevated bioburden (>10^4 colony-forming units/gram of tissue), helping clinicians confirm debridement adequacy with objective visual evidence.
Precision builds confidence for both the clinician and the patient.
