Jim Moroney is a published author who has instructed health and safety related courses at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, University of Alberta and the University of Calgary. He has been an invited guest speaker at the BC Western Conference on Safety, BC Pacific Safety, Canadian Society of Safety Engineers Annual Conference, Alberta Health and Safety Conference Society, Rural Utilities Safety Association.
