Aforza Rec Junior Summer Camps are for children between the ages of 10-16 who would either like to learn how to play tennis/padel or improve on their existing ability in these sports.

Our coaches will teach your children the basic skills needed to play these great sports through fun and exciting games and drills.

These camps have an option of morning, afternoon, or full day. Running from June 29th to August 21st, you are not going to want to miss out.

This week’s academy update features elite junior Eric You! 👏

Eric comes from a full family of tennis fans. He used to watch his older brother play from the sidelines, which made him want to play too. Eric first touched a racket at 8, and at just the age of 10 he knew he wanted to compete. When Eric was 13 his family moved him to Aforza to have him train in more competitive programs. His favourite things about the club are the community of coaches and players that he gets to be a part of.

Through his competitive years, Eric has earned himself some reputable achievements that include a doubles semi-finalist appearance at U16 nationals, improving his UTR to a 9.00, being ranked 8th in Alberta for U16 boys, and having deep runs in both recent U16 and U18 provincials!

Eric is seen every day giving his best efforts on court to constantly improve, and there is no doubt that he is capable of achieving great things! 💪

Congratulations Vera! 😊 Vera Wing delivered an outstanding performance at the U14 Girls 4-Star Tournament at the Saville Tennis Centre, finishing as the singles finalist and with the U14 doubles champion title. Well done 👏
