Community Connections for Newcomers

Community Connections for Newcomers is a federally-funded volunteer matching program that helps newcomers (immigrants and refugees) adjust to life in Canada and learn about Canadian culture. Calgarian volunteer may assist newcomers by offering practical information and guidance, opportunities to participate in community life, social and emotional support, assistance in English comprehension, and in obtaining employment.
