Every year as my birthday approaches, I like to do a short self-portrait session to visualize the past year in an image, and to reflect on the change since the prior year (in both obvious ways and not). As I approach my 34th birthday, I'm thankful for all of the opportunities and changes that have presented themselves this year, and how much I feel I've grown and become comfortable in my own skin. I know myself better than ever, and I still refuse to let anything quash my joie de vivre. I feel strong, I feel happy, and I feel damn good with who I am.
