In 2003 our founder and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Robert Slimmon saw a need for an alarm response agency who solely responds to alarm calls as there was not and still currently is not an agency with in Calgary or the province of Alberta who strictly responds to alarms as the police agencies are starting to pull away from the alarm response services, at that time Rapid Alarm Response Services was born. Slimmon saw not only a need but felt it was necessary to start a security agency as there were a lot of companies out there who were lacking in professionalism, training and were just generally making the entire security industry look bad. On October, 01.2007 Secure Protection Services was born which became the sister company to Rapid Alarm Response Services and Mr. Slimmon felt it was important to bring forth a professional image and company as well as set a standard for other security agencies to follow and new it would be a lot of work to change the industry standards and was prepared to take on the task.
