Over the weekend, we had the opportunity to support Fresh for Kids Snack Program, helping deliver fun, nutritious snack packs to students in underserved schools.
A huge thank you to the students for volunteering — together we assembled 450 snack packs in just one hour! 💛 Small actions, big impact.

“Hi everyone! My name is Devyanshi, and I’m a Kinesiology student at the University of Calgary. I’m passionate about promoting health, wellness, and active living while creating inclusive spaces where everyone feels supported. Through my practicum, I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned in the classroom to real-world experiences, connect with the community, and continue growing both personally and professionally. “Hi everyone! My name is Sam and I’m in my final semester of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. I first heard about NSTEP after leading a service project aimed at providing nutrition and exercise-related educational programming for Calgary youth! The work I did in the project inspired me to continue with NSTEP and make meaningful impact in the world of health and nutrition!
My favourite ways to stay active are taking dance and other workout classes, like yoga and pilates throughout the city - I’m always open to class recommendations :)
