Did you know several different video games have been demonstrated to be helpful with mental health issues? For example, Tetris can be effective in helping process a traumatic event.
If video games are your jam, maybe check this one out! https://www.iflscience.com/praise-the-sun-notoriously-difficult-video-game-may-help-players-cope-with-depression-79006?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR5XHcewt4kBGUqJkJCIC6kL88aWXvWXjQg_RGR6M8CFT5ToZykN7SzeA2wPOg_aem_WEPeybigTc41jdLySGJdhQ

Years ago, someone made fun of me because I said I liked to do paint-by-number kits. Told me it "wasn't really art." Here's why I don't care:
Simply painting or colouring is hugely helpful for calming and self-regulating.
It helps me with my anxiety. When I'm stuck in an anxiety cycle, I get hung up on perfectionism, technique, colour choices, etc. Paint-by-number allows me to just follow directions and trust the process.
I enjoy the meditation of it. Focusing on something tangible and simple and small quiets my brain.
The end results make me happy.
I LOVE giving gifts, and the recipients of the finished paintings seem to love getting them!
If it helps me and makes me and others happy, I'm fine ignoring someone else's standard for "real" art. Just keep creating. If it makes you happy and does no harm, DO IT!
