DAK is coming to Eight Ounce Coffee!

If you've been around specialty coffee for a minute, DAK probably needs no introduction. And if they're new to you, all the better. You're about to meet one of the most exciting roasters out there, flying in all the way from Amsterdam. We've been quietly working on this one for a while, and we cannot wait to finally share what we have planned.

Say hello to H**e Coffee. A specialty roaster out of Korea, and the newest name on our shelves.

H**e started in 2019, founded by Ji-young, who’s spent over 15 years across pretty much every side of coffee you can think of. Green sourcing, large-scale retail, R&D at Stronghold, plus a finalist run at the Korean Brewers Cup. That kind of experience comes through in every cup.

H**e’s name is inspired from the Greek goddess of youth, and the whole idea behind H**e is built around the kind of pause a good coffee can give you. They call it a Refresh Moment.

For roasting, sweetness sits right at the center of everything they do. Acidity and flavour build from there, so you get a cup that’s clean, balanced, and finishes clear. The lineup is split into four easy styles so you can find your way in: Natural for red fruit sweetness, Washed for bright citrus, Unique for the more out-there cups, and High-end for the refined varietals like Geisha.

If you’re looking to try, the Balance Blend is a lovely everyday pour, and the Natural lineup is a great place to land if you’re more of a single-origin person.

We're looking for a Wholesale Relationship team member based in Montréal to join our team. You'll be working with cafés, retailers, and hospitality partners across Quebec and the East Coast. Basically, helping the people who love coffee do what they do even better.

-You speak French fluently (written and spoken)
-You've got 2+ years of experience in the coffee industry
-You're based in Montréal and comfortable travelling when needed
-You hold a valid Class 5 licence (25+, clean record)
-You're a people person who builds trust naturally
