Our client CIWA doesn’t shy away from difficult issues facing immigrant women. They asked us to create a film to address Addiction so that women would recognize it and know there is help available.
With an incredibly short timeline of 3 weeks, we faced a monumental challenge to create a story, a script, (thanks to theatre maestro ), source locations, props and sets, and hire actors. On week 3 we directed and shot the entire film in two half days, as well as edited all the video and audio in the rest of that week. We were exhausted afterwards but so proud to be a part of an important conversation. Episode 1: Meet Addiction and recognize him for who he is.

California: A vast land of dramatic landscapes and that sun and surf lifestyle that is so addictive. We’ve come to the end of this action packed series. So here’s a video finale that will have you California dreaming and looking up flights.

When a Canadian NGO asked us to tackle the issue of corruption in developing countries, we decided to tell a story with animation. This project had a deep process, beginning with academic research, followed by story development, then a script, a screenplay, and a storyboard. Then there was extensive art direction and experimentation with different illustration styles. The final piece was created with hand drawn illustrations on an iPad using a frame by frame animation technique. It was laborious for sure but it ensured we had the control and precision we wanted for a sensitive topic. This video is the result of many weeks of team work.
