Our expanding landscape company is offering a great opportunity for a Landscape Construction Worker/Lead hand to work on our residential and commercial projects, in crews of 3 to 5 people. We operate Monday to Saturday as required.

Responsibilities

Help foreman run and coordinate materials and crew for sites. Assist with Allen Block retaining walls, fences, gardens, decks, fieldstone paths, placing and laying interlocking pavers, planting, spreading and carting topsoil, laying sod or seed, grading soil, operating bobcat, excavator, skid steers and other manual duties to maintain the job site.

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment when needed.

Requirements

Competent in the use of power tools
Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly
Ability to work outdoors in all kinds of weather and site conditions
Effective communication skills
Time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Problem solving skills
Experience operating skid steer is an asset
Experience operating excavator is an asset
Irrigation experience is an asset
Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications is an asset

Compensation Starting at $18-$26/hour based on experience
