This week at Burly Essentials: The art of the Glove Peel!
This WEDNESDAY at 7:15 we're learning all about the art of the Glove Peel. A glamorous Burly staple, gloves are a refined and elegant accessory that offer up a multitude of seductive options when taking them off! Begin the class with some light stretching, followed by a focus on the art of the glove peel while you learn tricks and sequences we build into a mini choreography!

Burly Essentials drop in: It's just what it sounds like - a no-commitment crash course on some of the many aspects of Burlesque and dance. Every class focuses on something different and every week has a new set of combos and choreography to learn. We'll do a full body stretch and warm up before honing in on your new skills. Let's indulge in a little bite-size Burlesque to keep us moving, learning, dancing and playing together!

Wear clothes you can move in (think yoga, dance or gym clothes) and indoor dance shoes, dress shoes or heels (2" - 3" or under is best)!

The 75 minute Burlesque Drop in class is $25, or 4 / $85. Or 6-class pass for $125 (you can share punch cards and they don't expire!)

Please note: Our studio entrance is *at the back* of the building.

Parking:
Parking is in the back and the entrance to our studio is at the back.
When you arrive you can park anywhere it says "Diamond Parking". You will register your license plate inside the studio.
There is also free street parking on 17 Ave.
Alternatively, you can also park on 1 street NW which is beside the Unitarian Church and beside Balmoral School. If you park on 1 st NW, walk down the alley and you will see the studio on the right hand side after the construction, you can't miss it!

Tonight at Burly Essentials: Haughty Hat Tricks!
TONIGHT at 7:15 we're we're flipping our lids! Learn to use an irresistibly suave prop in the Burlesque context - the humble hat - to accentuate movement and bring a little flair and magic to your act. Think top hats, bowlers and fedoras - but we’re making it extra alluring!
*A selection of hats provided for use in class - give us a heads up if you plan to attend so we bring enough for everyone!*
