As a father, I often think about the man who raised me and the impact he had on my life. But it's bittersweet, because he's no longer here to see me become a father myself.

Losing my dad at such a young age was devastating. There are so many things I wish I could have asked him, so many moments I wish he could have been a part of. But even though he's gone, his legacy lives on in me.

Becoming a father has made me appreciate the time I had with my dad even more. I understand now the sacrifices he made for our family and the love he had for us. And it's given me a new perspective on how I want to raise my own children.

I want to be the kind of dad my dad was: strong, kind, and always there for his family. I want my children to know that they are loved, and that they have a father who will always be there for them.

Being a father is the most rewarding and challenging thing I've ever done. And I know that my dad would be proud of the father I've become. I may have lost him too soon, but his memory will always be with me, guiding me as I navigate this amazing journey of fatherhood.
