Rise Calgary is at SocialWest 2026!

We’ll be honest — we don’t have a dedicated marketing team or a large marketing budget, and that’s exactly why we’re here.

As our organization continues to grow, we’re working toward building a stronger marketing and communications strategy that helps elevate the voices and stories of our community — from Earn & Learn graduates to tax filers and Basic Needs Fund recipients.

We’re also looking long-term at building sustainable systems, including donor management and community engagement tools, to help strengthen and support the programs that serve hundreds of clients each year.

A big thank you to Sherry and her family from Last Chance Produce Ltd for their generosity and ongoing support to our community. They are providing fresh fruits and vegetables to vulnerable community members, and were onsite in front of Rise last week offering free produce.

They will be back once more this coming Friday afternoon at our Forest Lawn office with another round of fresh produce.

During their period of transition, we’re grateful they were able to partner with Rise Calgary and use our space as a temporary location to continue this important work.

We truly appreciate the care and impact they are bringing to the community.

Rise Calgary is looking for a Summer Student – Community Advocate Assistant to join our team for an 8-week full-time term. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting vulnerable and low-income Calgarians while building meaningful community connections.
