RCIP is a pathway for foreign nationals who:

2. Want to live long-term in these communities.

Starting January 21, 2025, new rules will apply to:

✔️ Spouses of international students in specific programs
Master’s programs that are 16 months or longer in duration;
Doctoral programs; or
Select professional and eligible programs

✔️ Spouses of foreign workers in select TEER occupations
TEER 0 & TEER 1 occupations
Select TEER 2 or 3 occupations

❌ Dependent children will no longer qualify for family OWPs.
