A few weeks ago, we were fortunate enough to work alongside Mark Anthony Wine and Spirits to host an evening in celebration of Ornellaia at Barberian's Steakhouse in Toronto. With very special guests, Winemaker and CEO, Marco Balsimelli and Director of North America, Alessandro Lunardi, our guests were the first to taste the new 2023 release of Ornellaia "La Vitalita", an exceptional vintage and the inaugural for Balsimelli.

Ornellaia also served Ornellaia Bianco 2023, along with Ornellaia 2015 and 2012 directly from the estate, while Iron Gate supplied the Ornellaia Bianco 2015 for comparison, along with a vertical of 2004, 2005, and 2006 Ornellaia.

Each guest generously brought a bottle to share from their cellar. With their contributions, the table experienced vintages as far back as 1998, spanning four different generations of Ornellaia. We'd like to thank all our guests, the team at Mark Anthony, and Ornellaia for making it an evening to remember.
