Working solely in the corporate environment, I facilitated individuals and teams to design effective ways of working together and to incorporate change that comes in the form of mergers, acquisitions, right-sizing, business transformation, business process redesign, technology implementation, etc. ... It seems the impetus for change in the corporate environment is everywhere.

Through my own jour
ney of self-discovery, I learned the impetus for change is just as prevalent in our personal lives as it is in the business environment. The reasons may be different, but the compelling urge to grow and expand seems forever present.

βIn 2009 I started to meditate and then made the life-changing decision to go to India to partake in a 21-day meditation, healing and yoga retreat on an ashram. Since 2009, I have been to India six times and to Thailand once. Each time expanding my personal meditation practice and learning the science of meditation and leadership from Paramahamsa Nithyananda, a spiritual leader from India named as one of 100 most spiritually-influential people living in the world by the prestigious Watkins Magazine, alongside leaders such as His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela, Oprah and Thich Nhat Hanh. I have personally experienced the power of meditation and the transforming experience of being connected with my own internal guru - the voice of wisdom inside myself. The funny thing is we all have an internal guru - the one who knows exactly what we need to do. Unfortunately, or quite on purpose I suspect, the voice of the internal guru is soft and barely audible ... seemingly impossible to hear through layers and layers of societal conditioning, proverbial "shoulds" and our forever chattering minds.
