of learning from established and celebrated artists across Canada before moving to Iowa with her husband in 2023. The clay community is a friendly and welcoming place and she feels very fortunate to have been welcomed into Mainframe Studios in Des Moines where her love of clay can continue and can grow. The move has meant many changes including exploring new clay, glazes, materials and processes. She is embracing these changes as part of the adventure and is learning every day. Terri draws from her love of the outdoors for inspiration in her work, focusing on natural tones and earthy pieces. While she loves the creation process, what fills her with even more joy is seeing her pieces being enjoyed by others. Mugs to cuddle up with on a cool day or serving pieces to draw people together around a table are at the heart of her work and sharing that joy with others keeps her coming back for more.
