Officially opened on November 14, 1974, CTCC has been at the heart of Calgary gatherings for more than 30 years. With approximately 122,000 square feet of space, CTCC can accommodate groups as small as four and as large as four thousand. Our flexible space includes 36 meeting rooms, 47,000 square feet of exhibit space, a 20,000 square foot ballroom and five pre-function areas. And although our facility is completely dedicated to conventions, meetings and events, we are conveniently connected through indoor pathways to three four-star hotel partners.

Same room. Many possibilities.
We’ve seen our spaces take on a lot of different looks. Whatever the idea is, we’ll find a way to make it happen.

A lot happens around here.
And it’s exactly where we want to be. In the heart of downtown Calgary, surrounded by people, places and energy that makes this city thrive.
We wouldn’t have it any other way.

It's amazing what can happen with a few skeins of yarn and the right idea.
This weekend, Knit Social Event Co. brought Knit City Calgary to the CTCC with workshops, vendor booths, fibre artists, and enough yarn to keep Calgary’s knitters busy for a while.
We hope you found a little inspiration, and a whole lot of yarn.
Is the CTCC a top tourist destination?
Debatable.
Are we the gateway to stick around and explore Calgary?
Absolutely.
Over the years, we've been the starting point for millions of delegates' visits to Calgary, giving people from around the world a reason to discover the city for themselves.
And if we're lucky, they leave with a few new favourite places.
