Math never tasted so sweet!

CBe-learn Elementary students have been whipping up some delicious learning! Grade 6 mathematicians designed their very own hot chocolate recipes - and along the way, showed off some seriously strong mathematical thinking by demonstrating their understanding of fractions, percentages, and ratios.

We love seeing creativity and math come together in such a fun (and cozy!) way.

We had a great day of learning together in person at the library! In the words of our students:
"IT WAS SOOO FUNNNNNN!"
"The big performance hall was cool. It felt like I was at Harvard." "My favorite part was to meet my teachers and my friends and to explore the library."
"I found my favourite book and liked sketching the cool artifacts."
"My one wish for next time is that the whole CBe-learn could just fly to the library in one second!"
