We’re so excited to welcome you to our new IN ART Studio space at Kipling Square! ✨🎨

One of the first things you’ll see when you walk in is this beautiful custom mural created by the talented - thank you for bringing so much energy, movement, and colour into our new home. 💙

We’ve worked hard to create a bright, inspiring space where artists of all levels can relax, learn, create, and connect. Watercolour, acrylics, workshops, special events - this is a place for everyone who loves art.

We can’t wait to welcome all art lovers to our new studio at Kipling Square. More classes, more creativity, and many beautiful moments ahead.

We are excited to welcome internationally recognized watercolour artist Nicolas Lopez .lopez.art for a special 3-day workshop at IN ART Studio in Calgary this August!

Known for his bold contrasts, atmospheric scenes, and expressive storytelling, Nicolas Lopez has inspired artists around the world with his unique approach to watercolour. This immersive workshop is a rare opportunity to learn directly from a master artist and explore techniques that bring mood, light, texture, and emotion into painting.

Over three inspiring days, participants will work on dynamic compositions, dramatic values, urban atmosphere, and expressive watercolour techniques while receiving personal guidance and demonstrations from Nicolas. Whether you are an experienced painter or looking to push your artistic skills further, this workshop will help you discover new creative possibilities and a more confident approach to painting.

What an unforgettable few days at IN ART Studio! ✨

It was truly a huge honour to host the incredible workshops with Joseph Zbukvic and Lisa Wang here in Calgary. Having the opportunity to welcome Joseph - a true legend and for many, the number one artist in the watercolour world - was something very special for all of us.

At the same time, it was wonderful to have Lisa Wang with us as well. Lisa brought such a warm, inspiring, and supportive atmosphere to the workshop, sharing her knowledge, experience, and beautiful artistic approach with all participants. Together, Joseph and Lisa created an unforgettable learning experience filled with creativity, inspiration, and genuine connection.

For several days, our studio was filled with painting, conversations, laughter, and artists from different places coming together to share their passion for watercolour. Watching demonstrations, hearing stories, and learning directly from artists of this level was truly special.

A huge thank you as well to Daniel Smith for supporting this event with their incredible paints and helping make this experience even more inspiring for all participants 🎨💛
