Congratulations to Dr. Jennifer Matthews for being awarded "Outstanding Contribution of a New Faculty" at Surgeon's Day 2018. As an active researcher, she has published four peer-reviewed articles over the last three years and was instrumental in an ERAS study for breast reconstruction.
Dr. Matthews played an important role in the creation of a multidisciplinary Head and Neck Reconstruction Clinic by donating her clinic time. This clinic, along with the development of a Synoptec note, has enabled the Section of Plastic Surgery to care for their most complex patients in a more thorough and thoughtful manner while expediting the care. Well done! We are so glad you are part of our team at Plastic Surgery Associates.
