ABP is in Colorado this week for the 2026 Canada Day celebrations hosted by Consul General of Canada in Denver, Sarah Quigley.

On Wednesday, General Manager Brad Dubeau joined representatives from government, industry and the Canada-U.S. business community to celebrate the strong connections between Canada and the U.S.

Events like this provide valuable opportunities to strengthen relationships, share Alberta's beef story and highlight the important role international partnerships play in supporting our industry.

At Riverview Ranch near Grassy Lake, the Torrie family is combining more than 100 years of ranching experience with approach such as rotational grazing and virtual fencing to improve pasture management, protect sensitive landscapes and support cattle health.

Their approach demonstrates how environmental stewardship and beef production can work hand in hand, helping preserve native ecosystems while making the most of Alberta's grasslands.
