HIRING: Industrial Spray Painter ‼️👇

TIPS Personnel is a groundbreaking recruitment agency reshaping the staffing industry. We're seeking a professional Painter/Sandblaster for a warehouse in Nisku, AB. Duties include airless spraying of industrial equipment like structural rig/heavy equipment. Sandblasting metal parts is a bonus. All work must be done safely and efficiently.

You'll report to the Nisku warehouse, working day and/or night shifts (open 7 days/week).
Day Shift: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, 4 days on, 2 off.
Night Shift: Mon–Fri, 4:30 PM–1/1:30 AM, every other Saturday.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Experience with airless spray painting, high PSI hoses, big pumps (5–50 gal/hr), and all paint types
Use specialty coatings on steel/piping for industrial/commercial projects
Experience with epoxy 2-comp, industrial enamels, and urethanes
Read/interpret blueprints; inspect surfaces; ensure smooth coverage
Operate abrasive blasting, spray, and coating equipment
Clean equipment, do maintenance, sandblast parts, maintain sandblast equipment
Apply primer/bonding agents via brush/roller
Hit production targets and operate equipment safely
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Min 2 years in industrial painting
Able to read/write/speak English and follow blueprints
Work outdoors as needed
Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial painting
Skilled with power/hand tools, machining, lean manufacturing
Welding/fabrication experience a plus
Basic math for measuring/paint mixing
Familiarity with Cloverdale, PPG, and Azko noble paints
Team player, dependable, strong work ethic
Must have steel-toed boots, coveralls, and reliable transportation
DETAILS:

Full-time position in industrial settings
Pay: $28–$35/hour (based on experience)
Overtime pay available
Schedule:

8-hour shifts
Day/Evening/Night shifts
Mon–Fri + some weekends

Job Description:
As a Siding Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining siding for both residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help our clients achieve beautiful and durable exteriors. We’re looking for someone who can work efficiently, safely, and with an eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
-Install siding materials (vinyl, wood, fiber cement, metal, etc.) with precision and care.
-Measure, cut, and fit siding according to specifications.
-Ensure all siding installations are done in compliance with safety and quality standards.
-Conduct inspections and repairs on existing siding as needed.
-Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure job sites are left tidy.
-Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
-Work effectively with the team and follow project schedules and deadlines.

Qualifications:
-Proven experience as a siding installer or in a related field.
-Knowledge of various siding materials and installation techniques.
-Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
-Ability to use power tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely.
-Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
-Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or with a team.
-A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Previous experience with specialty siding materials (e.g., cedar, composite).
-Certification or training in siding installation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week

Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
