On Thursday, Curtis and Matt had the opportunity to showcase our Alt Route Accessible Skateboarding program at the very first Beyond Sight event hosted by CNIB Calgary!

We had an amazing time sharing our passion for accessible skateboarding with the blind and partially sighted community — and even got a few people on a board for the very first time! The smiles, and excitement were unforgettable.

Beyond Sight was all about celebrating creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship within the blind and partially sighted community. It created a space for community members, organizations, creators, and entrepreneurs to connect with each other and members of the community.

A huge thank-you to CNIB for inviting us to be part of such an empowering and inclusive event. We’re so proud to represent the accessible skateboarding movement and can’t wait to keep pushing things forward! 💛

Saturday, September 16th, 2023.

We had a great time at on Saturday for the Adaptive Skateboarding Workshop and SWITCH Speaks panel with & !

It was a great opportunity to meet other like minded individuals who are working to achieve the same goal - making skateboarding accessible to all, positive change, and creating awareness to our stories. I truly feel as though we all ended Saturday with a new sense of inspiration, understanding, and knowledge about skateboarding and each others communities.

We are so honoured to have been able to have been a part of this incredible day. A huge thank you to , , for making this day possible.

A huge shoutout to everyone involved, and the community that came out to support! .yp

Also, a huge thank you to and who came and hung out with us Saturday morning for a little bit :), so stoked to see everyone coming together for such a great cause. You all rock!
