When I talk about coloring the roots of your client’s extensions for a better color match, this is what I mean.

If your client’s natural hair is darker at the roots and lighter through the ends, the extensions need to reflect that same color pattern.
It’s not enough for the ends of the extensions to match the ends of the client’s hair. The root area matters too.

When the root color of the extensions is adjusted properly, the blend looks softer, more natural, and much more seamless from the top down.

That small detail can make the difference between extensions that look “installed” and extensions that look like they belong there. ✨
