Just another chapter for the book! lol I think from now on unless it's a 6lb dog I won't be flying with a pet in cabin with WestJet! 🤦🏻‍♀️✈️🐾

WestJet has really cracked down over the last year about the pet in cabin requirements. Last night I went to board my flight to the Cayman Islands and even after using a bigger in cabin carrier that the supervisor suggested I was denied with a 16lb JRT. He's not big at all and was very comfortable... Transferring him to the different carrier stressed him out! So of course... They denied me boarding!!

We've got alternative flights now booked and we'll get him there! But what a pain in the ass after spending nearly 3 hours dealing with them to end up being denied in the end less than 90 minutes before the flight!

Beware of WestJet buckling down like this!
