TORONTO... CALGARY:
1 month ago tomorrow I announced the sudden and saddening passing of my Mother on Aug 27 while on holiday from Toronto in Newfoundland 7000kms from Calgary. Her Funeral Service after transportation back home to rest is this Sat the 28, tomorrow ☹️

I never got to see my Mom again since my last visit before COVID, and as her only child and her my only Mother I've been not only dreading this day all my life, but as most of know, I'm currently recovering from a series of unforeseen and out of my control life setbacks that have decimated me financially and almost mentally as well.

After enduring bouts of homelessness over the past 18 months and having a shoestring budget to forge through on, I've been extremely stressed wondering how I would get to Toronto for the funeral but that got handled today thankfully and at 4am I'll be at the airport for the flight taking me to say my final goodbyes to my Mom who battled her way through some tough times herself although you'd never know. Regrettably but unavoidably I have no wardrobe for this kind of thing anymore so if anyone can potentially help on that score or might have suggestions, I've got tomorrow afternoon/eve and Sat morn to overcome that unfortunate reality...

I'm going to be there for roughly 10-14 days to see family, friends, and extended family and heal from both my remorse for not being able to get East to see her once again thinking I "had time", and frankly my shame at not having money at this age in my life from saving poorly and now of course from the ongoing medical issues that have affected my ability to work and effectively handicapped my finances permanently.

I hope to once again see the ones in my life that I love, which is ALL of you of course, but in this case particularly those that I can hopefully manage to actually physically see again while I'm in the East for possibly my last time... We all realize that there's NO way to know when we're going to go...

That's it. I don't really know how I'm going to pull this off because I'll need to try to borrow or rent a vehicle to be able to get around to everyone (hint hint?) lol, and I'll have a basic but not extensive or extravagant budget to work with, so if anyone is feeling particularly benevolent with a few million (jk!) or even able to at all help pad the budget for real it will be appreciated of course but also I'll make it go a long way.

The day we all dread and have nightmares about has come ☹️

This morning I got the call that my wonderful and amazing Mother who I haven't seen or hugged in over 5 years because of that fu***ng COVID died this morning. 😓

My one and only Mom, my lifelong best friend who I already missed SOOO much, was on holiday with my step-Dad Bill at his childhood home in Catalina, Newfoundland, and had a heart attack last night. She was rushed to hospital in St. John's but died this morning as Bill got there to be with her and who called me from her bedside to tearfully ensure I knew first so that he and I could shoulder this sorrow together with almost 7000 kms separating us as the depth of our loss united us as if we were both there to say goodbye with the utmost love one can feel.

I'm sorry I didn't make it back Mom: I'm so sorry things have been so tough that I didn't get to look into my mother's eyes again, hear your voice, or feel your ever-lasting Mother's love envelop me from a simple hug.

HISTORY:
I've owned this Pearl-white, Active-Status (currently Registered, insured and driven - mostly highway driving), Beauty of a truck since Oct 10, 2018. I bought it as a rebuild from a trusted friend who owns an Auto Shop and I've had NO major issues or damage with it at all (except for a wind-induced parking lot Door-to-Door ding on the front Passenger door) and I don't want to let it go, but I have no choice – I have to get caught up after Covid decimated our finances and Monday is my Deadline...Vehicle will be fully detailed over the weekend and ready for Pickup or Delivery by 2pm this coming Monday, March 27, 2023 looking almost as if it just came off the Factory Floor...
