So many of my acne clients assume hydration & moisturizer will make them break out, but it’s quite the opposite! 💧

Moisturizer is one of those skincare steps a lot of people don’t LOVE. Mainly because they haven’t found one they truly love, or they fear clogging their pores with it.

THE TRUTH IS, acne takes up to 90 days to form in the deeper layers of your skin that aren’t even visible, so while you may notice a few spots pop up after moisturizing, this is likely has nothing to do with your moisturizer and much to do with your daily habits or an impaired skin barrier due to the lack of hydration/ moisturizer :)

Acne is not curable but it is 100% manageable with the proper treatments, home care + commitment. (Heavy on commitment!)
