Rocks by Jules
Mandala stones are meditative symbols that are created by painting smooth rocks with intricate patterns of dots. The art and practice of creating the mandala is a form of meditation, a soothing ritual that allows the painter to express their creativity and find a sense of calmness and healing. Mandala means 'circle' or 'completion' in Sanskrit.

Event to Combat Domestic Violence:
🎨✨ January Paint & Donate Night — Date TBD! ✨🎨
Hosted by: Julie Pankow — Domestic Violence Advocate/Educator/Survivor
I’m excited to share that my next Paint & Donate Fundraiser is happening this January! The date will be announced shortly, but I wanted to give everyone a chance to plan ahead — these events fill up quickly and truly bring people together in such a meaningful way.
Just like our previous events, I provide everything:
• A cozy dinner (usually chili, salad, fresh bread, water, juices and wine)
• All paint, Rock canvases prepped, tools & supplies
• Your art is yours to keep
• A welcoming and supportive space to connect
At the end of the night, you donate what you can, and I match with a donation as well. Every dollar goes toward organizations helping survivors of domestic and gender-based violence rebuild, recover, and reconnect with safety, dignity and support.
These evenings are always powerful — a chance to meet others, share stories if you wish, and turn creativity into compassion.
This time, we’re supporting Fear Is Not Love, an incredible service in Calgary that not only provides emergency shelter, but also trauma-informed therapy and specialized support for victims of violence — including children who witness frightening or violent events in their homes. Experiencing trauma is one thing; having a space to process it safely is another. That’s why services like this matter so deeply.
Group size is kept small (5–10 people) so everyone feels comfortable, welcomed, and supported.
✨ If you’d like to participate, please message or DM me for details.
I can’t wait to create, connect, and give back together again.
