Well my desk is set up and somewhat organized at the house! I need to go through my notes and figure out what I missed because of the studio break in. 🤦🏼‍♀️

This morning's painting is an abstract landscape. I had so much fun painting this. I found on Patreon and have been enjoying his tutorials. He's quite good at all the things I love about watercolour... Mixing the chaos and control. I love that we are all drawn to different mediums and styles of art. His large pieces are just dreamy and I cannot wait to do a full sheet piece. Some big hake brushes are on their way. 🖌️🎨

Pretty sure I forgot to share this house portrait! Ive been taking a break from commissions to focus on landscapes but I miss the detail work.

I will be opening up two commission spots for March. 5 x 7 is $75 and 8 x 10 $100.

Working with a three colour palette and a little bit of gold. 💛

A quick quarter sheet landscape this morning. I feel like I have to take advantage of any time I feel like painting blue skies. 💙

Next up I have a cabin commission and a map project. 🗺️

Lake vibes this morning! 💙 my family came here every year when I was a kid. Fun fact... I actually met my husband here, my mom met my dad here and I'm pretty sure my grandma and grandpa met here too.

I will likely redo this as there is a bloom I don't like but it was still a nice way to start a Monday.

I picked up a bike for my daughter in Water Valley last week and the clouds were just amazing. It was a gorgeous day for a drive!

I enjoyed working on this painting and was able to work with my new brushes and utilize some new techniques.
