World Food: 🍬🍁 CANADIAN FOOD, PART 2
Canadian food is a blend of Indigenous traditions, European influences (mainly French and British), and global flavors brought by immigrants. It’s shaped by the country’s vast geography, rich natural resources, and diverse cultures.
3 British Influence 🇬🇧: The British brought hearty comfort foods like fish and chips, butter tarts, split pea soup, and Jiggs’ Dinner (a boiled meal from Newfoundland).

Lobster Rolls – A Nova Scotia staple, featuring fresh lobster meat tossed with mayo, served in a buttered, toasted bun.

Sushi – Thanks to Vancouver’s large Japanese community, high-quality sushi is a staple on the West Coast.
