This project marks a significant milestone for Bcomp in the US motorsports scene, driving innovation and setting new standards for sustainable lightweighting in racing and beyond.

Flax is an incredibly versatile plant that has been used for centuries. It has been used for textiles, clothing, and flax oil. The excellent mechanical properties of flax make it a perfect renewable raw material for high-performance composites, too.

Based on the all-new 2024 Mustang Dark Horse street-legal performance car, the Mustang GT4 racer contains a Ford Coyote-based V-8 engine developed by Ford Performance and assembled by Ford in Dearborn, Michigan. Longtime Ford partner Multimatic will build every Mustang GT4.

The Mustang GT4 race car also features Multimatic DSSV dampers, a Holinger dog-ring gearbox, paddle shifters with pneumatic actuation, natural fiber body panels, as well as a unique aero package developed to meet GT4 category targets.
