Proposed new transit-oriented community called ‘Caledon Station’ may be coming to Bolton A new neighbourhood might be coming to Bolton and so far, the plans are looking to change the way Caledon residents get around.

With the population of the Town of Caledon set to nearly quadruple from 81,000 to 300,000 residents by 2051, it is in need of a better transit network, something Ward 3 and 4 Regional Councillor Jennifer Innis recently noted to NRU Publishing Inc. "Having a connection to the greater regional transportation network is a benefit not only for Caledon, but also for our neighbouring municipalities," she noted. “We really do want to be planning communities that are not car- centric, but that are sustainable. Public transportation is a major component of that." Read more below.
