One of the biggest reasons I don’t think AI will replace great trainers?
Connection.

Programs matter. Knowledge matters. Results matter.
But feeling seen, supported, listened to, and cared for matters too.

This message came in response to our recent blog on why great coaching is about so much more than sets and reps, and honestly, it says it better than we ever could ❤️

“Listening and caring are as important to overall health…”

Training sessions often become more than workouts. They become consistency in someone’s week. A safe place to laugh, vent, celebrate wins, work through challenges, and keep moving forward.

We’re incredibly proud of coaches like Francois who bring not only knowledge and creativity to their sessions, but genuine care for the people they work with every day.

That human element will always matter.

One of our favourite exercises at PI?

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀. 💪

Why do we love it so much?

Because it works for such a wide range of people — from athletes chasing performance to adults over 40 simply wanting to stay strong, capable, and pain-free.

Some of the reasons we include it so often:
✔️ Often more shoulder-friendly than traditional overhead pressing
✔️ Challenges the core and stability systems
✔️ Builds upper body strength
✔️ Helps bridge the gap when shoulder mobility is limited
✔️ Easily adaptable for different goals and ability levels

At PI, we love exercises that meet people where they’re at while still helping them build strength, confidence, and resilience.

The landmine press does exactly that.

Have you tried it before? 👇

𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗴 (𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗶𝗼) 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂.

Sure, some people start training glutes because they want to fill out their jeans a little better 👖😏

But at PI?We train the glutes and posterior chain for a whole lot more than aesthetics.

Strong glutes help you:✔️
Move more powerfully✔️
Support your low back and knees✔️
Improve balance and athletic performance ✔️
Build resilience against injury✔️

Here, our client is using the Bells of Steel Glute Ham Slider for reverse sliding lunges — a great exercise for building lower body strength, stability, and control.

And hey… if your jeans fit better too? That’s just a bonus 🤝
