It is anticipated that the group may have one or more of the following issues: risk of homelessness, living in poverty, disconnected from family and school, mental health issues, minor involvement with the justice system and addictions. While every attempt will be made to intervene early in the referral process to reconnect youth to their family, education and youth services, we are specifically targeting those youth who have rejected, in the past, these essential supports and who are entering into, by their choice, adulthood.
