Our students had a fantastic time celebrating the excitement of the FIFA World Cup! We talked about soccer, wore our favourite soccer jerseys, practiced English through fun discussions and activities.
To make experience more memorable we visited a local spirts bar tow arch the exciting opening match between Canada 🇨🇦 and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Students cheered for their favourite teams, enjoyed the lively atmosphere, and had plenty of opportunities to use their English in real life situations.
Learning English is even more fun when it connects us with the events and passions that bring people together from around the world!

Today’s second class was about nature vocabulary in action!
We took a walk through downtown Burlington and enjoyed the beautiful cherry blossoms in full bloom.
Along the way, students practiced English in real-time situations, took lots of fun selfies and admired the stunning lakeshore views!
