🧼 How do I take this face paint off?🧼
When it comes to getting your face painted, it's an easy and simple process to remove it!
🫧Wet your face
🫧Go over it with a skin safe wipe OR
🫧A damp cloth and some gentle, fragrance free cleanser
🫧For good measure, feel free to cleanse twice!
I like to finish off with a moisturizer to ensure your skin stays hydrated.
Keep in mind that some colours, like green and teal, tend to stay on the skin a little longer due to strong pigment(no matter how high quality the paint is!)

Face paint doesn't have to be all rainbows and unicorns! Sometimes, when requested, Starry Crown Co can get a little spooky. 🕷️
"It's not fair!"
On the contrary, it's the only way to remain fair.
At the majority of events you see free face painting at, those professionals have been paid their standard rate to be able to provide a face painting service to you at no cost. And unfortunately, it means that we can't get to everyone in line.
If we agreed to "just one more face" for everyone, we would be sacrificing time and supplies that would not be covered and (often) come out of a face painters own pocket to do!
Face painters deserve to be respected for their craft like everybody else. And hopefully, you can catch us the next time we do a free event!

Some display faces!
Face painters will know the pain of not having a choice board- there is always one request for the most outlandish , crazy face paint.
Having a board to choose from gives you plenty of options, keeps the line moving smoothly, and helps make things fair for everyone!!
Sometimes if you ask nicely, the colours can be swapped or we can do something simple!
❓ How do you keep your brushes clean?❓
Questions like these are super important for face painters. Not only does it educate, but it also helps to keep all professional face painters at the same high standard of hygiene!
There are a few different ways you can clean your brushes, and the approved methods will vary depending on your region and area. I like the three-cup method, where you put your brushes through a cycle of brush cleaner, clean distilled water, and finalize with sanitation.
And don't worry- I have more than enough brushes to go around!

My name is Amelia, and I am the sole proprietor and owner of Starry Crown Co! I started this company in December of 2024. It was me, my costumes, and the tiniest kit of makeup products. And, in May 2025, I registered as a business in Ontario!
Starry Crown Co is a face painting, entertainment and networking business designed to fulfill all of your party needs. Face painting? I've got you covered! Need a balloon twister? Maybe a princess? I know someone!😉
I have over 15 years of experience with kids, and over a decade of theatre and performance experience. I attended Sheridan College 2021-2022 for performance and theatre prep(PPAP). This experience allows me to truly help make your party the best it can be!
I am so proud of this company. It is small, yet mighty. My goal is simple- to bring back a little whimsy to this world. To spread magic and joy in a way that is easy, accessible, and safe.
All of my materials are FDA approved, professional and safe for skin. I am licensed, insured, and registered as a business in Ontario. I follow all regulations set by the government of ontario- so you can rest easy knowing that that hard part is taken care of!
