For those running the Flying Acorn 10k and Half Marathon courses on the 18th, something special hits about 750m into the race. Those who ran our first event here last year know what we are talking about!

What looks runnable because it's not that long a stretch, quickly changes when one realizes it's just too steep to go full tilt the entire way up (for most mere mortals, that is!). Welcome to the notorious STEEPEST CLIMB with Gontree Tree Service. It's that special part of a race that turns into one of those talked about bits of a course, where the shared struggle between runners becomes something that bonds all those who tackle it.
