𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐝𝐨 𝐢𝐭!
Have 3 kids and would prefer 3 birthstones instead?
𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐞! 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦 𝐪𝐮𝐨𝐭𝐞.
Bracelets are the perfect piece of keepsake jewellery as the resin is safest from most damage and chemical exposure due to its location on the wrist instead of the hand.
(Aka - even gold plated jewellery can be worn daily and still remain heirloom quality).
These bracelets really are the sweetest way to preserve your motherhood jewellery, your loved one’s ashes or another keepsake you hold dear to your heart.
I can’t wait to get started on one for you and share your story🤍
** Trigger warning: Infant Loss **
Abrielle was born prematurely due to maternal preeclampsia. Ashley remembers “feeling fine” but being told by doctors she was one of the sickest people in the hospital.
After being educated by doctors and taking careful consideration, Ashley and her husband decided to go ahead with an early c-section to bring Abrielle earth side safely.
They welcomed a beautiful baby girl that same day - June 11th 2023.
It was expected that Abrielle would need to stay in NICU for a while due to being premature.
Everything went to plan until a little over a week after Abrielle was born. Abrielle started to have “episodes” and needed increasingly higher care.
It was later discovered Abrielle had Infant Necrotizing Enterocolitis. A complication often seen in premature babies that had caused her bowels to stop working and die. Despite all their efforts the doctors were unable to help Abrielle any further.
Just ten days after welcoming their sweet angel they had to give Abrielle one last kiss goodbye.
Any parent’s worst nightmare.
I was filled with so much emotion, empathy and sorrow for Abrielle and her parents while creating these keepsakes.
I would be lying if I said I did not shed many tears working with the last of Abrielle’s physical keepsakes:
• Her sweet and tiny lock of chestnut coloured hair.
• Her mother Ashley’s breastmilk that came in to nourish a baby she no longer held.
• Her gravesite soil containing her grandfather’s ashes that were scattered over her burial site for protection.
• Forget Me Not flowers to add colour and signify true love, remembrance and everlasting connection.
Thank you Ashley for allowing me to grieve and honour Abrielle’s short life with you.
I hope these pieces allow you to feel closer to her until you’re able to hold her again 👼🤱🕊️
