My sourdough starter came from a neighbour whose starter was called Edith which is the name of my favourite Aunt Fan (Edith Ann) so I decided to honour my family member (a supportive & loving plus size woman) and the starter creator (Brandy) with this name. Thank you Brandy for the cute jar! We’re using a David’s Tea lid so it’s never completely air tight, it fits perfectly on this size of mason jar.
