Here’s a throwback to 7 years ago today! Finishing up letterpress invitations and not realizing that I was in labour with August.

This is what my face looks like after a week of Covid running through the house, but still needing to work… and so I work on Saturday of a long weekend. (Can you tell I’m a bit tired?!)

This is my happy place so I don’t mind. It’s nice to have this studio in my home where I can just pop back in if needed… but for now I’m putting on with ’s new book, and sinking deep into letterpress printing some beautiful invitations.

Heading into wedding season, so if you need day-of stationery for your summer/fall wedding now is the time to book.
Even if you don't have all your details yet, or your guests haven't rsvp'ed yet, it's the best time to get the design done, and then update as soon as you have your details sorted out.

Every bit is crafted, carefully made.
I pour my whole heart into every piece of stationery I've ever made. It feels like these little works of art get scattered around the whole world. Like this one that made it all the way to Hawaii (and even further).
I also love a good blind impression – that's when I letterpress print without any ink, so that it leaves that beautiful deep impression. See it on the invite there?
So this was a custom-designed invitation suite – 1 colour throughout and an additional pass through the press for the invitation (just for the blind wave texture). As with all my clients, the envelope addressing was included ('cause I care about your hands and unless you're a calligrapher it's nice to have it done for you).
Oh how I'd love to do another invitation for a Hawaii wedding!
