City Girl is a heartfelt story about family, love, and new experiences, following twin sisters as they explore their family cottage. One twin is nervous about the changes, but through hikes, lake swims, boat rides, and campfire songs, she learns to embrace the adventure. 🏕️🌲

This book is deeply personal to me—not only is it based on my own childhood memories in Northern Canada, but it also became a tribute to a dear friend. Our original illustrator sadly passed away before completing the artwork, and her sister stepped in to finish it with love. 💛

It’s time for another staff spotlight! Meet ASHLEA! She is a library associate at the Downtown Library. Ashlea credits The Secret Garden as being the book that made her fall in love with reading.
