A transformation and a renovation aren’t always one in the same.

Most homeowners just need to edit and refine what already exists.

When I first toured this home, I knew right away that the bones were solid and the client had good taste. But the living room felt “off”.

I saw 3 things:

1. The scale was wrong (small furnishings / large room)
2. Visual imbalance (dark furniture & flooring / high bright ceilings)
3. Lacking warmth

We didn’t need to tear down walls and start from scratch—we needed to make smarter choices.

Aside from the obvious colour change, we brought in larger furniture & art, clad the ceiling with wood to bring the eye up, and added mid-level sconces for warmth & ambiance.

This home went from “almost there” to “just right”, and more importantly: the client now has clarity & confidence.

And who doesn’t crave that?
